Facilities and Accommodation

Gorwallt Fach is a special place and the natural environment here is highly sensitive.

Workshops take place in a beautiful converted barn adjacent to the house, where we provide lunch and coffee/tea with light refreshments each day. Special diets can be catered for.

There is an abundant supply of water from our own spring.

Having recently teamed up with Tony Carlisle at "Eirianfa" (www.eirianfa.com) the quality Four Star Bed and Breakfast in the village (Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant) where people can stay whilst 'on retreat', we can now offer workshops and retreats all year round - subject to availability (and really adverse weather conditions - Gorwallt Fach is above 1,000ft!).

Dinner, Bed and Breakfast at 'Eirianfa' costs £45 for single occupancy, and £85 for shared occupancy, of a twin or double room.

PLEASE NOTE: There are many other beautiful places to stay in and near the Tanat Valley. We leave you the choice of where to book and how much to pay.

To minimise our ‘footprint’, we offer very simple amenities and provide transport to and from the village of Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant.

If you are travelling by train, we can arrange to collect you from, and/or return you to, the stations at Gobowen or Welshpool.

Please also be aware that “BESS” the Border Collie lives here at Gorwallt Fach. She loves being taken for reflective walks but, if you have an allergy to dogs, this may not be the best venue for you. You are encouraged to contact us direct if you are unsure, or are interested in discussing how we might make alternative arrangements.
